Multi-GNSS SISRE Monitoring – Methodology and Results

Workshop 2017 - Peter Steigenberger - The signal-in-space ranging error (SISRE) is a common quantity to describe the uncertainty of a modeled GNSS pseudorange due to broadcast orbit and clock errors. SISRE monitoring is an important task of the "GNSS Performance Monitoring IGMA-IGS Joint Trial Project" initiated in 2016. The German Aerospace Center (DLR) will contribute to this project with a SISRE analysis of GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou. This presentation introduces the general methodology of SISRE computation for single- and dual-frequency applications. The merged broadcast product of IGS MGEX as well as the dedicated MGEX GPS CNAV product serve as basis for a multi-GNSS SISRE monitoring. SISRE time series are generated and analyzed for GPS LNAV and CNAV, Galileo INAV and FNAV, GLONASS, and BeiDou.
