A new 6-axis robot for absolute antenna calibration at the US National Geodetic Survey

Workshop 2017 - Andria Bilich - NGS is planning to update to their absolute antenna calibration system by acquiring a new 6-axis robotic arm. This poster discusses the advantages and disadvantages of the robotic arm for the antenna calibration application, and shows antenna movement results expected for this 6-axis robot, generated by robotic simulation software.
