Workshop 2017 - Stavros Melachroinos - The information of the pseudo ionospheric observable plays an important role in detecting and further estimating the value of a cycle slip, and not only. Appropriately accounting for the ionospheric information in the PPP-RTK solutions still remains a bottleneck for speeding up the Integer Ambiguity Resolution (IAR), and therefore, network-based predicted ionospheric delay is essential. The variation of the pseudo ionospheric observable is dictated by the standard deviation of the ionosphere, pre-defined. The minimal expected variation is set to some mm, however under active ionospheric conditions, such a modest standard deviation could prove insufficient for low rate data ie. to account for strong ionospheric activity, hence can incorrectly flag for cycle slips and lead to erroneous STE
