Workshop 2017 - Rolf Dach - The GLONASS-M generation satellites in the Russian GNSS constellation have a much longer lifetime than the previous generation. In the context of a reprocessing a SLR orbit product validation was carried out. In this context a degradation of the orbit modelling performance has been observed in several cases 2 to 3 years after the launch of the satellite. There are as well a number of GLONASS satellites with a significant reduced number of L2 observations in the global tracking network. When solving for satellite antenna offsets significant deviations from the nominal values are obtained for the same set of satellites. The presentation such indicators will be analyzed in a systematic way and potential options for improving the orbit modelling performance of these satellites are discussed.
